Lucinda Weigel

Lucinda M. Weigel is a native of South Dakota and a graduate of Northern State University in her home state. After college, she became a caseworker for U.S. Senator Tom Daschle. She would go on to complete a 28-year career in the legislative branch as a senior advisor to Senator Tim Johnson, who retired in 2014.

Luci began preparing tax returns professionally in 2004, discovered she had an aptitude for it, and eventually left a research position on Capitol Hill to make it her career. She is an Enrolled Agent (EA) and Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and she joined Ross & Moncure in January 2015. She works on Ross & Moncure’s tax research team, specifically on cases relating to divorce and alimony, retirement planning, wealth transfer, and IRS audit responses.

Luci and her husband, Farhad (Fred), live in Vienna, Virginia. They have no children or pets, but are very fond of their Roomba vacuuming robot.
